Heya,
This morning, my husband Ben asked me if i had any good ambient music, specifically something that was “otherworldly but contemplative, something deeply introspective.”
I opened up iTunes and immediately started playing for him your Shores of Jupiter album. After less than a minute, he said it was perfect. I asked what he’d wanted it for, and he wanted to use it for a video on his YouTube channel.
It’s my understanding that the Webbed Hand stuff is fairly open for use in such projects, but i wanted to make sure it wouldn’t be an issue that he was using your music for a series of videos he’s working on. I don’t think they’re uploaded yet (it’s the Gesamtkunstwerk series), but his channel is here: http://www.youtube.com/user/TheCarruths. He’d love to give you a shoutout and link your blog in the text for the video, if this is all kosher and such.

Free Music? Are you completlely mad? I am a composer too and it is already hard enough trying to make people understand that music should be paid for. Music should not be free…you are insulting hard working musicians. The culture of ‘free’ music should be stopped. Too many people are getting away with illegal downloads and you yourselves are contributing willingly to this terrible problem. Have a bit of pride!

I was looking for music to stimulate my mind’s intrique and interest in science and the unknown, while containing enough calming trance to study to. I found the perfect music, and it’s yours! I’ll throw you donations every once and a while if you promise to keep on making music forever! I’ve let my students know of your work, and have been reccomending it to everybody I know!
